Ometepe Island Hotels
Although it can hardly be described as being off the beaten track, Ometepe Island still receives very few tourists, one of the best reasons to visit in our opinion.
As with other parts of Nicaragua, backpackers’ hostels outnumber hotels and, thus far, the few hotels that do exist are largely pitched at a relatively modest / simple level.
Our two featured Ometepe hotels, Villa Paraiso & Xalli Hotel, are located a short walk from each other on Playa Santo Domingo, on the island’s east coast, enjoying lovely breezes.
On the western, more sheltered side of the island, we are also able to book Hotel Charco Verde.
If you wish to stay somewhere entirely different, please don’t hesitate to ask and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
