Hotel Con Corazon

Located on a wide, quiet street, no more than 10-minutes’ walk from Granada’s Parque Central, the Hotel Con Corazon may be a charitable institution, but that should in no way detract from what it has to offer as a hotel.

Housed within an attractive, colonial building, the hotel features two internal courtyards. The first is a shady, leafy affair with plenty of seating, ideal for both the included breakfast and for reading a good book with something cold at hand. If you finish your book sooner than expected, don’t worry, the hotel also operates its own book exchange.

Behind this, the second courtyard is home to the hotel’s small swimming pool together with seating and hammocks for hot, lazy days.

Adjoining the reception area is the hotel’s bar with an authentic Italian coffee machine and a wide variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on offer. The hotel even has its own in-house cocktail, the ‘Con Corazon’. If you’re heading out exploring and need water, you can fill up your water bottle for free from the hotel’s supply of purified water tanks.

The 15 rooms are simply but stylishly decorated and, while not particularly large, feature clean and crisp bathrooms, a/c and safe. Wifi is available both in the rooms and throughout the hotel.

As part of its charitable endeavors, the Hotel Con Corazon is also a member of Pack For A Purpose. This initiative encourages visitors to set aside space in their luggage to take supplies out to local members (such as the hotel) to help them with both ongoing and one-off projects.
