Frankly, who needs plans or activities when the star of the show here is undeniably Tulum’s powdery fine sand and beautiful Caribbean waters.

However, just in case you do feel the need to actually do something, the Rosa del Viento can make arrangements for local sightseeing and watersports such as scuba diving or even kite-surfing.

Or, if you really can’t tear yourself away from the hotel, a selection of beauty treatments or massage are available either on the beach or the hotel’s dedicated wellness cabana.

The hotel’s relaxed, informal restaurant overlooks the beach and serves up a blend of mostly Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine and is especially well regarded for its pizzas and fresh bread which are made in its very own, wood oven.

In total there are just 40 rooms of which 14 are situated directly on the beach and 26 set back slightly within the gardens.

All rooms are simply but stylishly decorated and come with a small terrace or balcony. Rooms can accommodate up to 4 people.
