Hacienda Temozon

The original and distinctive ‘Main House’ at Hacienda Temozon houses all 28 of the property’s guest bedrooms, each one named after its original function, such as the Pharmacy and the School.

In total, the property has some 28 rooms, comprised of 18 Superior rooms, 6 Junior Suites, 3 Deluxe Suites and 1 Presidential Suite.

All the rooms are spacious but, as a sympathetic conversion of an old property, vary in terms of size, layout and features, especially within the Superior rooms & Junior Suites categories. All rooms do however boast a hammock, ideal for whiling away the hours with a good book.

The Deluxe Suites all feature a living area, terrace and private plunge pool while the Presidential Suite is where the original owner of the hacienda once lived and, in addition to being the largest room in the property, features 2 terraces and a private pool.

Also located along the terrace of the main building is the Casa Temozon restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serving delicious local, regional and international cuisine. If you prefer to eat in the privacy of your room / terrace, room service is also available.

Quite aside from being a wonderful place to spend any number of days, Hacienda Temozon is also a great base for exploring the many historic and natural attractions to be found South of Merida.

When you’re not out and about exploring the region’s numerous attractions, the hotel’s elegant swimming pool is located directly in front of the hotel, near the Machine House, where some of the original machinery used to produce sisal is on display.

In addition to the pool, and for a more ‘Yucatan experience’, Hacienda Temozon even has its own on-site cenote with a linked Spa.

Quirky Fact – Hacienda Temozon was the setting for the 2024 Hollywood film ‘Blink Twice’. A beautiful backdrop for sure but perhaps not a film for everyone!
