Despite its size, Isla Mujeres is home to a surprisingly large number of hotels as well as numerous condos popular with expats.
However, the island really only has the one major beach of note, the excellent Playa Norte on the island’s northern tip. Directly next to each other on this beach are our two of our featured hotels on Isla Mujeres, the Hotel Casa Balam and the simpler, more moderately priced Cabanas Maria del Mar.
