Mystique Holguin Saratoga
Guardalavaca, Cuba
Heritage
The Hotel Mystique Hotel Saratoga is, as the name suggests, located in the city of Holguin, an approximate 1-hour drive from the glorious beaches of Guardalavaca.
Aside from the city’s international airport, few visitors make it to Holguin although, for clients on a tour taking in the length of the island – such as our private Cuba Revolution Tour – Holguin is often called into action as an overnight stopover.
While accommodation options in the city have certainly improved, they are still relatively limited, with the Mystique Holguin Saratoga being the pick of the bunch.
Dating back to 1913, the Mystique Holguin Saratoga is located in the city centre, close to Parque Calixto Garcia.
A relatively small hotel, with just 12 rooms in total, the property still manages to offer guests a choice of accommodation with either Standard rooms or more spacious Junior Suites, all tastefully decorated and furnished in the colonial style.
At the hotel of the hotel is a pleasant, central courtyard together with a lobby bar and simple restaurant. Wifi is generally reliable while the hotel also offers a laundry service.
All in all, the Mystique Hotel Saratoga is a comfortable and atmospheric hotel that is more than adequate for an overnight stay.
