Cuba / Accommodation
A guide to accommodation options in Guardalavaca
Where to stay in Guardalavaca
As with elsewhere in Cuba, when it comes to hotels in Guardalavaca we always recommend that clients stick to the reliability and quality provided by internationally managed properties.
Our two recommendations are sister hotels runs by the Melia group, and both are located on Playa Esmeralda, amongst the best beaches in Guardalavaca. The Sol Rio de Luna y Mares is a good value, mid-range hotel that is popular with families while the Adult Only Paradisus Rio de Oro is certainly amongst the most luxurious beach hotels in Cuba.

We are able to book hotels other than these, such as Las Brisas, Playa Costa Verde & Playa Pesquero, although our recommendations are always for the aforementioned two Melia hotels.
More limited accommodation, including the Mystique Holguin Saratoga, is also available in the nearby state capital of Holguin.
